JK Bush Camp is only 3 kilometers away from JK Mara Camp on a steam joining up with the Muliban River, set in the same beautiful area.

The bush camp is the original and most traditional safari, perfectly suited to small groups looking for an authentic 'Out of Africa' experience off the beaten track. Our beautiful, secluded campsite is situated to give you a maximum privacy and exclusivity with bush comfort.

Camps are close enough to do an afternoon walk and end up in JK Bush Camp for dinner with an overnight stay and walk back to JK Mara Camp in time for breakfast.
A few nights at both Camps is an unbeatable combination

Accommodation: Seven well-appointed tents of 3 x 3 meter with eco toilet and hot water shower just behind the tent. Tents can accommodate 2 single camping beds with all linen and duvets. An extra canvas cot bed can be included for children if need be.
Each tent is situated to ensure privacy where you can relax on your private verandah, enjoying nature and letting the world go by.

The Camp is run by the same group of Masai that runs JK Mara. Your hosts will make sure you get an insight to the Masai people and their culture as well as provide the best service.

The camp has a fully stocked bar.

Electricity and power supply: JK Bush Camp has no electricity. All lighting is with kerosene lamps and candles in the true Karen Blixen style.
